Our Mission
We are committed to providing all who want and need it the opportunity to be in the country and enjoy the experience you choose. The distance from the city to the country is growing and yet we know that time spent in and with nature does wonders for your mind, body and spirit. We want to shorten that distance - mentally at least. While we cater your experiences to your interests, we also use the profits to help support other communities who need the opportunity too, providing special sessions for children with special needs, giving space and time to our veterans and their families, and working with rescue animals.
City and Saddle provides a unique opportunity for retreating to a barn to enjoy a relaxing day with happy horses, friends and family. Whether you want to ride or focus your time on unmounted pursuits we have it for you to experience and enjoy.
You shouldn’t have to put your life on hold for days to be able to have time in your life for experiences that make life better. City and Saddle is committed to giving you the farm and barn experience you crave, from riding on beautiful country trails, learning how to cook like a farmer, Hoga (horse yoga), to hitting hot metal or a relaxing hike to get out of your city head and into nature.
We can accommodate individuals, couples, pairs, colleagues and confidantes. Tell us what you want and let us tailor your experience. We are not a riding school; we are an exclusive barn affording you an exclusive experience. We don’t want you to ride and drive. Ride with us, and relax at the barn, enjoy what you remembered when you were younger or capture what you never knew you missed. Happy horses are a lot of fun to be around.
We offer a range of mounted and unmounted pursuits. We draw on decades of training and experience to give you these truly unique experiences. We provide the space you can decide how you tap further into the energy you draw upon.
We will help you get transport directly from midtown to the farm or arrange to pick you up at the train station. The point is to make it easy to be at a barn and ride the way you remember it or always wished it could be. We know how hard it can be for apartment people to find the kind of farm experiences you’d love to have without going for a week or those that are so crowded and cliche that it’s meh.
